I used to do this as a kid. Now that I’m grown up, I know better yes, but more jaded. I don’t ask the petals of the flower anymore. But how do I express my affection to someone I love? I write poetry. You can check out some of the love poems I wrote posted in my blog – they are directed to no one in particular though for now. My favorite poem I’ve written is a sonnet: “A Walk Around The Oval” I thought that poem I would read to someone I will love for the rest of my life.

This post makes me nostalgic. How time flies, games we play as kids still amuse me whenever I remember. Thanks for the reminder.
